Dodford church was founded at the time of the Conquest in the 11th Century and rebuilt by Ralph de Keynes in  1100.  The tower and north chapel were added by William de Keynes in 1221.

The church consists of a tower, nave, north aisle, south porch and chancel.
4 notable people buried in the church:
1.    Sir William de Keynes (died 1344)
2.    Elisabeth – daughter of Sir William (died 1376)
3.    Wentiliana – granddaughter of Sir William  (died 1375)
4.    Sir John Cressy (died 1443)

If you are new to the village and have not been in the church you will find it is open on Saturdays between 10am and 4pm and, of course, for services, when everyone is always very welcome.

Church Warden is Steve Moore.  Ray Oakes is Treasurer and Jane Day is Secretary to the Parochial Church Council (PCC).  Other members are Jane Mellor, Jennie Fuller, Annabelle and Simon Steel.
